Extruded Polystyrene Foam Crown Molding is a Plain, different breadth crown molding typically used in rooms with ceiling heights of 8' and higher.

OUR crown molding is manufactured with a dense architectural Extruded Polystyrene foam (not Styrofoam). XPS is durable and 100% waterproof. The material can be sanded to shape just like wood.

A major advantage of XPS is that it will not expand, constrict or warp over time with changes in temperature or humidity. It's safe to install in rooms with the presence of moisture like bathrooms and kitchens. This product will not encourage the growth of mold or mildew.

Installation is simplified with the use of modern adhesives.

This is precisely why we now offer a full lineup of XPS crown moulding and installation for any building types.

Because plaster mouldings are messy and require too much space, we ruled out this option. MDF moulding installation in a buildings carries additional costs from added labor and time for having to brace the trim to the concrete walls, which often includes glued-in-place blocking. XPS mouldings are glued directly to the walls, lowering costs.

Here at CPM NORTH SHORE we stock 40 designs of XPS crown mouldings, which are standard for 8' ceilings, but we offer them in sizes up to 14" for taller ceilings and bigger rooms. Our crown mouldings are available in 6.56ft-foot lengths, plus ready made corners, which safe tremendous amount of time for cutting and installing!
